The Eirene project set out to examine 20th-century post-war transitions in the North-Eastern Adriatic region from a perspective of gender. The visual identity draws inspiration from history, while the visual language and colour palette present this long-overlooked topic to a contemporary audience.

The main visual element is the emblem, which pays tribute to historical images depicting the fight for freedom. The Eirene project utilized different communication mediums; these included posters, leaflets, notebooks, and other printed materials, as well as a website.
